Stokke® Tripp Trapp® highchair

'Best highchair I have ever used!'
Strengths:	Looks good, cleans well and lasts for many years.
Weaknesses:	As I didn’t have to buy it it wasn’t a problem but I could see the initial cost being an issue for some people!
Overall:	I was lucky enough to be given a Stokke Tripp Trapp by a friend and I can honestly say it’s the best high chair we have ever used. We had a pretty basic one at first but at about 16 months my son had started to get annoyed with not being able to get close to the table and would want to get down! As soon as we started using the Tripp Trapp that all changed. I am not sure whether it was the fact that it looks like our dining room chairs that helped but I think it made him feel as though he was like mummy and daddy, needless to say meal times have become less of a hassle since we were given the Tripp Trapp! Another great factor about the Tripp Trapp is that it is great for my son to sit in the kitchen with to help mummy prepare dinner, before the legs sticking out way in front of the seat hindered this and he was just too low. It has totally revolutionised the way we eat and interact with each other at mealtimes and I cannot recommend it enough, it is a lot of money for some people and although I didn’t have to pay for mine it is an investment that will see your child through to being a teenager. I only wish we had bought one from the start as it might have saved a few dinnertime tears! I am a total Tripp Trapp convert and wouldn’t swap it for anything else just a shame I can’t fit it in my handbag to take when we eat out!

'GREAT FOR FAMILY DINING'
Strengths:	Good looking, heard wearing, easy to clean, safe and comfortable.
Weaknesses:	Not cheap and does not fold away, but why would you want to put it away?
Overall:	Right from the first time our son sat in it he was safe and comfortable - don't bother buying the cushions, they're not required! He loved eating with us and we enjoyed our family meals. It looks great in our kitchen and our dinning room and fits at both tables - I know it's pricey but our friends 6 year old son still sits at the table in his! Now that's value for money!

'A MUST HAVE FOR EVERY CHILD.'
Strengths:	Grows with the child Wide choice of colours to match EVERY dining room in the country, design blends in with any table. Encourages your child to join in mealtimes
Weaknesses:	With a fidgety child this chair can be easily tipped - can not leave child alone. No tray so has to be used at the table at all time.
Overall:	One of the best buys I made. Our daughter sits at the table for all meals and it's made our going out for meals a (relative?) breeze. She will now sit in any highchair and take part in mealtimes. The chair itself is sleek and comfortable. It matches all our dining furniture and with the choice of colours available I defy anyone not to find a colour match! Simple to assemble and adjust. Doesn't need all the padded cushions as they just get matted with food! All my friends bought conventional high chairs initially and one by one have eventually bought a Tripp Trapp. Do yourself a favour, save yourself some money and buy this one from the get go- it's such good value when you consider they'll have it for the next 6+ years. And the quality leaves you in no doubt it will last that long.
