Before my daughter was born I adored walking my two dogs over the local heath and through the local forests! I dreamed of walking through there with my dogs and my baby when she arrived. When she finally did arrive I was eager to get back out walking, however I got onto the heath and the buggy seriously struggled, not only that it was heavy and a nightmare to push up the great big hill to the top of the heath!
So we went out and bought the ergo, this was NOT an easy decision, we arrived at hey baby, to be greated with a friendly welcome and the sales lady bent over backwards for me. I tried on the ergo classic, sport, organic, the classic again in a different colour, the organic again! Then we tried my little on in each carrier, we were shown how to adjust it and allowed to walk about for 5-10 mins with it on so I could get a feel for it.
I was born with a mild form of spina bifida which means i have a very sore back rather often, I also broke my back nearly 10 years ago. I suffer badly with my back, however the ergo is not an issue i don't even notice that I am wearing her! I regularly wear my daughter for 23 hours as i walk over the heath, I have finally got my independence back and can live the life i dreamed of, walking with my daughter and dogs stress free.
I also wear the ergo when out shopping, it leaves me hands free and I don't have to use lifts or worry about weather the buggy will fit down an aisle. Another plus to the ergo is i can nip easily to the loo whilst wearing my daughter, saving the hassle of finding a toilet i can squeeze the pram into.
i LOVE my ergo!!!! I rave about it to everyone, get one you will NOT be disappointed or regret it
