This ingenious little bike would definitely have to rank very highly in our 'Best Things You Can Buy For Your Kids' list!

We bought our Likeabike seven years ago and have two small boys who have had hours and hours of fun on it. And thanks to learning to balance and ride on the Like-a-Bike first, they have also both been able to pedal a 'normal' bike from the age of of three and a half, and not a stabiliser in sight!
We have been stopped repeatedly in the street by people who cannot believe that such a young child can balance so effectively. Also, the other thing that really strikes you when you see a child on this bike is the independence they can achieve. Curbs, gravel, grass, undergrowth... nothing will stop them!

All the latest research shows that this is the best way to teach a child to ride a bike. Our own experience, and that of many friends, certainly agrees with that.

This model is the Jumper - From the initial concept to the design and selection of materials, Dahon engineers tapped the full potential of their considerable expertise to ensure that this bike is, indeed, lightweight! By using Aluminium, each part of the Jumper is made with the lowest weight and the highest level of functionality.

• The Jumper frame and fork are manufactured using high grade 7005 Aluminium.
• For added rider comfort there is a padded leather saddle which is embroidered with the Kokua logo and adjustable rear suspension. The suspension is adjusted by using the 2 elastomer springs that are supplied with the bike.
• An added safety feature is a unique steering limiter which is put in place to prevent jack-knifing: The limiter can be easily removed for more advanced riders.
• Seat height can be quickly adjusted using the bikes quick release mechanism.
•The short seatpost offers a range of 35cm to 38cm
•The long seat post (which is also supplied with bike) ranges from 41cm to 45cm.
